I built Lake Santee Vibes over one very good week at the lake. Here's the short story.
In July 2026, I was staying at my friend Elsa's place on the water — a cabin she calls “Off Duty” — from the 5th through the 9th.
It's gorgeous out here. But as a visitor, I kept hitting the same wall: what is there actually to do? Where do people hang out? How do I meet anyone — or, honestly, just find a pickleball game?
There was no single place to look. So I made one. Lake Santee Vibes is a little home base for the community — talk on the board, buy and sell in the classifieds, find a home on the lake, and see what's going on. Because it really is a vibe out here, and everyone should get to feel it.
